Sticking to the healthy new year's resolutions

So since the beginning of the year all members of my family have challenged themselves to become a much healthier version of ourselves. We have decided to restrain consumption of the oh so delicious Nigerian cuisine to special occasions only and instead opt for more healthier but equally delicious choices for regular consumption. I believe that healthy eating doesn't have to boring and instead of starving and then gaining all the weight back on, it is better to find more sustainable ways of keeping the extra weight off forever. I have already lost 2kg without trying too hard, Lets see how long this goes!

Meal one: Joghurts, fruits and nuts for breakfast

This is an easy to make breakfast choice and fruits in season can serve as substitutes, if the fruits on this post are not available.

I promise you it tastes heavenly delicious!!

Meal two: Broccoli, grilled chicken and mushrooms

This meal was something that me and my mum unintentionally co-created. She was responsible for the chicken and Broccoli and I for the mushrooms.

Again vegetables in season or simple leafy greens can serve as substitutes for vegetables which are not readily available.
